September 12, 2024, from the south coast of Iceland, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach by the Halsanefshellir cave. An intense and dramatic night of KP8-G3 aurora activity.
Milkyway rising in the Southern Hemisphere was breathtaking, contrasting with our view in the North and fun to see the difference!

The sailing rock at Racetrack Playa provided a unique foreground on May 10th for the rare appearance of Aurora at Death Valley National Park in California. 10 hour Timelapse. An extremely rare and special moment in time. The aurora danced brightly in the northern sky and reflected its vibrance and luminance across the surface of the playa in varied hues of red and reached the Southeastern night sky accompanying the milky way as it graced the view over the Racetrack following a storm.
