Death Valley Racetrack
The sailing rock at Racetrack Playa provided a unique foreground on May 10th for the rare appearance of Aurora at Death Valley National Park in California. 10 hour Timelapse. An extremely rare and special moment in time. The aurora danced brightly in the northern sky and reflected its vibrance and luminance across the surface of the playa in varied hues of red and reached the Southeastern night sky accompanying the milky way as it graced the view over the Racetrack following a storm.

Jay Anne Boza is an award-winning photographer with over 20 years of experience. Her interests have evolved into a deep passion for landscape and deep space astrophotography. Based in Austin, Texas, Jay Anne specializes in creating breathtaking images of the night sky, from the vastness of the Milky Way arching over natural landscapes in the USA and abroad, to the intricate details of deep space objects like nebulae and galaxies.
Her work blends her artistic vision with technical mastery, showcasing the interplay of light, movement, and the cosmos. Her astrophotography work showcases a unique perspective of the night sky in images and video.
Her photography works have been awarded throughout her career, including the Austin Astronomical Society and she won the Nightscaper Award, a high achievement of recognition among the best astrophotographers in the world.

Through workshops and mentoring, she is sharing her knowledge with others, teaching a variety of techniques to capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the universe.
